Description
At No. 11 (Foreign Press Association) Pennethorne did the interiors, for the 5th Lord Monson. Staircase with one straight flight and twin semicircular returns, cleverly complicated by Lutyens for Benjamin Guinness, 1922: a bridge was added from the landing to the gallery across the far wall (made c. 1876), and a column-screen made below.
