Memorial seat and busts of Dame Louisa Aldrich-Blake. 1926. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and AG Walker. Semicircular stone seat and base by Lutyens. Rising from the centre of the seat back a stone column with, on the back and front, identical bronze busts, holding a book, by Walker and inscribed tablets giving details of her career. On either side a bronze serpent and staff. (Historic England, list entry 1378970)
