Cemetery. Tiny Gothic chapel of 1903. – F. E. Smith, Earl of Birkenhead, †1930. Altar tomb by Lutyens, carved by Broadbent. Similar to the Wimborne tomb at Ashby St Ledgers. Chest with circles set on a coved base. – Robin, Earl of Birkenhead †1985. Obelisk cenotaph, incised decoration with at the sides a lion and a griffin. (Bailey & Pevsner, 2013, p.169)
